CASEplorations September

Can you believe it's September? Happy back-to-school and happy new installment of CASEplorations! You know the routine. We pick a knock-out card from the blogosphere for your and our CASEing pleasure.

This month we have a designer for you who is a frequent player in our STAMPlorations world of challenges and a card creator whose blog name describes her better than I ever could. But first, meet Penny the Pig.

This makes-me-oh-so-happy creation comes to you from Gail Tasker. Surely you know Gail. OK, how about ionabunny, of The Crafty Nomad? Yep, that's her. And I love what she did with that sweet piggy. And if you check out her blog, you will always be amazed at her creative process and crafting ingenuity. (When's the last time you heat embossed with an iron???) Please be sure to leave her some love.

Gail told me this when talking about CASEing her original tag. "I love my Penny the Pig tag and getting past that design has been much more of a challenge than I thought." Been there, done that. You too? Well "get past it" she did. Please meet her new creations...

You can see the return of the pink color, the inked edges, the stenciling, polka dots and sequins on the first tag. But I love how the CASE turned into something else when Gail changed it up to blue. How appropriate for those birds in flight! Love the blue sky feeling and those beautiful dew drops. The fibers and brad are pretty cool too. Thanks, Gail!

So now let's meet the DT 's CASEs -  you might just be catching a sneak peek of something in the pipeline :) - visit their blogs for more details.

Ready to try a CASE yourself. Remember, CASE means "copy and share everything." We take that to mean "notice the various elements of a card and then use some or all of them on a project of your own design."

Which card should you CASE? Well, that's up to you. You can CASE any of Gail's tags. Or any of the DT projects which will appear in the Inspiration Project Posts throughout the month of September. (Did you hear that Shery's little girl arrived this week? How about a pink baby card to celebrate? You could link it up here too.) All we ask is that you tell us which card you are CASEing in your blog post.

Then link your project to the Inspiration CASE Playground gallery below by October 5th and you might be the lucky random winner who gets to choose either a $15 STAMPlorations gift certificate or two ARTplorations stencils as a prize. Maybe we'll even select your project for a future CASEplorations!
